Toru Kazuki / A Japanese Painter:

The caricature illustration of Toru Kazuki who is the writer of this blog

I have a depressed wife and 2 children with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. Then I paint aquatic organisms to soothe the developmentally disabled people including my family.

My motif is strange, painful, and absurd spacetimes where the “world of children with developmental and mental disabilities“ and the “world of healthy adults” intertwine and fuse discontinuously. I wish I could connect these two divided worlds through art.

I actually have developed my original painting style, using colorful acrylic resins and powdered mineral pigments to create unique texture.

I also give you fictional narratives based on my experiences with the handicapped and oppressed people. Some illustrations in each flash fiction are my original paintings.
